Governor and Lawmakers Battle Over Laptops

Governor Mike Rounds and South Dakota Lawmakers are at odds over the continuation of the laptop program. No money was set aside by the legislature this year for the program that helps schools buy laptops, but the administration came up with 700 thousand dollars to help 15 districts buy computers.

The Governor says he will be back in front of legislators again next year concerning this issue.
