Commission Approves 10-Year Contract Extension For East River Electric

Last night the Madison City Commission approved a 10-year contract extension for East River Electric concerning the Transmission Wheeling contract. Jeff Rudd from East River Electric stated that estimates for the project stand at approximately 2 million dollars.

In other commission news, an appeal to the board of adjustments for Gary Coomes to build a garage on his property was approved as well as 2nd readings of both ordinances 1459 and 1461, both dealing with language issues to the building and zoning codes respectively.
