Natural Gas Costs

Even though summer is just beginning, energy companies are trying to find natural gas supplies for next winter's heating season. And it looks like those costs will rise sharply.

Mark Reinders is a spokesman for Mid American Energy and says projected costs are based on today's conditions.

Mid American serves about 550,000 customers in Iowa, and just over 82,000 customers in southeast South Dakota.
