First Rate Excavating Lands Grant Circle Project

First Rate Excavating of Sioux Falls has won the bidding for the grant circle project with a bid of $212,553.96. This comes on the heels of a recommendation letter from Sayer and Associates Engineering solutions of Sioux Falls. The bid is contingent however on the approval of the project by the South Dakota Housing and Development Association.

In other City Commission news, a new software upgrade for the water plant was approved in the amount of $4,500, a city-owned Case backhoe was declared surplus property and placed up for sale, and an appearance by Brooking's Mayor Scott Munsterman to discuss the I-29 Corridor Economic Development Coalition was reset for Monday, June 30th.
