Fish and Wildlife Building Generator Catches Fire

Madison Firefighters were called to a small generator fire yesterday afternoon at the Fish and Game Building on highway 19.

According to Fire Chief Jerry Johnson, when the power went out, the buildings generator kicked on and a soiled rag lying near the generator caught fire.

Johnson went on to say that the fire was considered minor and no injuries were reported.
