Alltell Gets Go Ahead To Build New Tower

Alltell Wireless has gained the approval of the Lake County Commission to build a new 290 foot self supporting tower in section 20 of Nunda Township. The tower will be used as a relay to better serve Eastern and Northeastern South Dakota.

In related news, A spokesman for Alltell told the commission that the buyout of Alltell by Verizen Wireless should be complete in 6-8 months contingent on government approval of the buyout.
