Kid Watch and National Night Out

The twentieth annual National Night Out is being held in communities across the country tonight. In Madison Entertainment gets underway at 6pm at the Madison Library Park, with food being served from 5 to 7pm.

In Madison a special event is coinciding with National Night Out. KJAM's Kid Watch is a presentation dealing with Internet safety and abduction prevention. Detective Kooistra with the Sioux Falls Police Department will be conducting the program. Detective Jason Meyer from the Madison Police Department says the program will help kids and parents know what to look out for on the Internet.
