Miracle Treat Day Sales Up From Last Year
Posted on Friday, August 8, 2008
Miracle Treat Day 2008 is in the books and, as always, the Madison area showed unbelievable support for the Dairy Queen and the Children's Miracle Network. Owner Delon Mork had set a goal of selling 8000 this year, up from last years final tally of 7011. Mork says it will be a couple of days before they will have everything tallied up, but that he believes last year's total was surpassed.
Mork says that every year he is taken aback and humbled by the way Madison and the area communities support Miracle Treat Day.
Amy Sumner of the Children's Miracle Network says Miracle Treat Day in Madison is impossible to describe. It has to be experienced. Sumner went on to say that they couldn't imagine an owner or community rallying more to make miracles happen for kids.
