Miracle Treat Day Exceeds All Expectations!
Posted on Monday, August 11, 2008
The Dairy Queen Store that has lead the nation in Blizzard sales the last two years for Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day, may have done it again. The Madison South Dakota Dairy Queen that sold 3,803 blizzards in 2006, and 7,011 blizzards in 2007, sold 12,347 blizzards during Miracle Treat Day 2008. That number far exceeded the goal of 8,000 set by store owner Delon Mork. Mork says the real winner on Miracle Treat Day is always the kids.
The proceeds of every blizzard sold during Miracle Treat Day go directly to the Children's Miracle Network.
No numbers from other Dairy Queens sales are yet available.
