Missing Madison Man Found in Harrold

The search for a missing Madison man ended well Sunday. At approximately 5:00pm on Saturday, William Barger left his residence in Madison in his pickup. The 79-year-old is fighting the onset of dementia and has a history of heart-related problems. Family members, and Lake County Emergency Response agencies failed to locate Barger Saturday night.

Barger was eventually found Sunday just before noon, by a rancher outside of Harrold, approximately 160 miles from Madison. Barger was reported to be fine and in good spirits. He thought he was just outside of Madison.
