Maloney Nature Area Dedication Today

The public is invited to the Dedication Ceremony today for the Gerry Maloney Nature Area. Ted LaFleur, the Parks and Forestry Department Foreman for Madison, says the dedication today will also feature an award presentation.

When finished the Nature Area will feature walking trails, natural wild flowers and grasses, as well as trees and shade areas, and a food plot.

Today's dedication will begin at 5:30. The Nature Area is located behind the Dakota Prairie Playhouse, on Harth Avenue, north of 9th street.
