National Honor Society Officers Elected

Earlier this month the 2008 elections were held for the National Honor Society in Madison. Three new officers were elected, Laura Niedert was elected as President, Meagan Abraham was elected as Secretary, and Jacqueline Adams was elected as Treasurer. The National Honor Society is one of the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school students. The Society serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. The group also discussed attending the Nobel conference at Gustavus Adolphus College. The topic for discussion at the conference this year will be Who were the first humans? The Nobel Conference at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter Minnesota is the first ongoing educational conference in the United States to have the official authorization of the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden.
