DSU Kicks Off Capitol Campaign

Homecoming wasn't the only activity going on at Dakota State University in Madison this past week. Thursday also marked the kick-off for a multi-million dollar capitol campaign. Dan Meadows is the co-chair of the DSU Capitol Campaign, he says the money raised will continue new building projects planned for DSU.
Meadows says that because of shortfalls in state funding, more and more schools are turning to private investments to fund new construction.
Once the new construction begins, there will be several changes to buildings on campus, as well as the addition of some new facilities.
The capitol campaign comes on the heals of a recent renovation project at DSU. That renovation to several buildings was completed at the start of the school year.
