City Commission Meets Today

The Madison City Commission will discuss an application for a farm winery license at today's meeting. The application for a malt beverage/farm winery license comes from Lewis Drug of Madison.

The City will also hold the second reading for Ordinance 1465. That ordinance would raise the speed limit on Northwest Ninth Street to 30 miles per hour, from Highway 81 to West Avenue.

Also today the commission will acknowledge the September building report, authorize Mayor Hexom to sign an agreement on the recreation trail with The South Dakota Department of Transportation, and review bio-solids and lime sludge removal proposals.

The regular City Commission meeting will begin at 5:30 pm., with a supervisor meeting at 4:30 pm.
