County Commission Appoints Pederson to fill Vacant Seat

The Lake County Commission met this morning at the Lake County Courthouse and named a replacement for Commissioner Shirlee Leighton, who passed away last week.

The Commission voted unanimously to appoint Scott Pederson to fill the 2 years left on Leighton's term.

Pederson, who ran in the County Commission primary in June, has served as a Miner County Commissioner and also served on the Lake County Zoning Commission.
