Crime Stoppers Being Reorganized

An effort is being made to organize Crime-Stoppers in Lake County once again. Crime-Stoppers is an organization that works with law enforcement and prosecutors and gives cash rewards for information that leads to arrests in pending cases. Seargent Mark O'Loughlen of the Madison Police Department says Crime-Stoppers can be a big help to local law enforcement. Crime-Stoppers was first organized in Lake County back in 1999 but O'Loughlen says for some reason it died out. An organizational meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. October 29th at the Madison City Hall.
