City Commission Meets

The Madison City Commission has approved two ordinances: one to eliminate the yield signs on Southwest Third Street and Union and another to replace the yield signs with stop signs at that location. The Commission met early Monday evening.
The Commission authorized Mayor Gene Hexum to sign a change order for the wastewater plant project. The change order increases the price-tag for the project by $17,522.90.
The Commission also authorized the Mayor to sign an engineering services agreement with Ulteig (Uhl-tyge)Engineers Inc. for a sanitary sewer evaluation study. The study is estimated to cost $74,890.
The Commission approved re-appointment of Ken Johnson to the Madison Airport Board.
The Commission acknowledged a request from Dick Amert for improvement of the alley 210 Northeast Nineth Street.
