Interlakes Offers Help

Interlakes Community Action Agency is encouraging people subject to the recent layoff and cutback at Gehl Manufacturing in Madison to contact Interlakes for assistance. Housing coordinator Kristen Reese says the idea is to help the affected workers before they get too far behind. Reese says her office can help with suggestions about dealing with creditors and budgeting to minimize problems. Gehl Company recently laid off 46 workers at its Madison plant indefinitely, and cut back production hours.
