Buckle Up Bulldogs Hope Mock Accident Will Open Eyes

Later on this morning, the Buckle Up Bulldogs will make an attempt at making students think about their driving habits, to do so, they are creating a mock-car-accident. Buckle Up Bulldogs Committee Person Diana Larsen says the reason the committee is pushing the issue because of all the accidents that were happening throughout the state involving drivers not wearing seatbelts.

Even though wearing seatbelts is important, there are a number of factors that come into play when it comes to safe driving.

Larsen says the accident will be very real, with 6 students being involved in the mock-accident, with the search and rescue team on board, the ambulance, and the police department. Larsen also says education from a young age is crutial.

The mock accident will be held on the road north of the high school at 10AM this morning.
