Scholarships

The Director of the Sanford Underground Lab Jose Alonso says the Lab in the Homestake Gold Mine provides opportunities for South Dakota including its young people.

Alonso spoke Wednesday evening at the Technology Classroom Building on the Dakota State University campus.

He says the Davis-Bahcall Scholarships provide an opportunity for a few high school seniors and college freshman to be exposed to cutting edge science at Homestake as well as overseas in Italy and at Princeton.

Students have until November 30th to apply for the scholarship.
