ICAP to Build New Quarters

The Madison City Commission has authorized the mayor to sign an option for Interlakes Community Action Program to purchase city property which once housed Rosebud Manufacuring in downtown Madison.

The property will be cleared and ICAP will build a new building for offices and a Head Start Program.

ICAP Executive Director Cindy Dannenbring told the Commission that the organization had many opportunities to move to other locations in the fourteen counties it serves, but decided to stay with its roots in Madison.

The property is half a city block at the Rosebud location.
