Among the actions taken by the South Dakota Board of Regents recently in Madison was to grant Dakota State University permission to plan for a Bachelor of Science degree in Network and System Administration.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Cecelia Wittmayer says security in computer systems is becoming more important.
If the Regents approve the degree, it could be available at Dakota State University in the Fall of 2009 or Spring of 2010.
