City Commission Meets Today

The Madison City Commission meets Monday evenings at 5:30 at City Hall.

The Commission is expected to consider several city license renewals.

The Commission is also expected to appoint former City Commissioner Dan Bohl to the Planning Commission.

The Commission will consider several annual organizational actions:

-setting the 2009 election date

-designating several financial institutions as official depositories

-designating the Madison Daily Leader as the official newspaper

-setting 2009 salaries

The Commission will hold a joint informational meeting with the Planning Commission at 6 p.m.
